Upper Tribunal Judge Andrew Grubb retires with effect from 3 April 2023.
Background information
Upper Tribunal Judge Grubb was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1980. He was appointed a part-time Immigration Adjudicator in 1996 and a part-time Special Adjudicator in 1997. He was appointed a Senior Immigration Judge (now known as a Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)) in 2005, a Recorder in 2009 and was a Judicial College Board Member from 2012 to 2018. He was appointed a Legal Member of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission and was authorised to sit as a High Court Judge in 2013.
