District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Jackson
The King has appointed Caroline Jackson to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Southend Magistrates’ Court with effect from 16 January 2023.
Background Information
Caroline Jackson will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Jackson. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1996. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2009.
