District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Hamilton
The King has appointed Jane Hamilton to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Magistrates’ Court with effect from 13th March 2023.

Jane Hamilton will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Hamilton. She was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2009.
