District Judge Appointment: Wahiwala
The Queen has appointed Amrik Singh Wahiwala to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Norwich County Court with effect from 3 January 2022.
Background Information
Amrik Singh Wahiwala, aged 43, will be known as District Judge Wahiwala. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2003. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
