District Judge Appointment: Uddin
The King has appointed Miran Uddin to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Leicester County Court, with effect from 20 November 2023.
Miran Uddin will be known as District Judge Uddin. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2001. In 2019, he was appointed as a Fee-Paid Tribunal Judge and a Deputy District Judge.
