Valuer Chairs and Members of the First-tier Tribunal, Residential Property Tribunal Pre-Application Seminar 2024
The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) will be launching a selection exercise in mid-November to recruit Valuer Chairs and Members of the First-tier Tribunal, Residential Property Tribunal.
The seminar
The Judicial Office is organising a pre-application seminar that will take place online via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 5th November 2024 5-6pm.
The seminar aims to help applicants be better prepared to make an application and to receive up-to-date guidance and advice on the JAC’s selection process. As well as the JAC, you will also hear from Siobhan McGrath, the Chamber President, Vernon Ward, Regional Surveyor for the Midlands Region (previously a Valuer Chair) and Julie Rossiter, a serving Valuer Member.
Who should attend?
These roles are open to chartered surveyors who are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS).
Applications are particularly welcome from under-represented groups (women, ethnic minority candidates, disabled candidates).
Training is provided for all appointed.
