Circuit Judge Appointment: Whitehouse QC
The Queen has appointed Sarah Alice Whitehouse QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woolwich Crown Court with effect from 6 September.
Background Information
Sarah Alice Whitehouse QC, aged 60, will be known as Her Honour Judge Whitehouse QC. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1993 and took Silk in 2014. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
