Circuit Judge Appointment: O’Donovan
The King has appointed Ronan O’Donovan to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court with effect from 13 November 2023.
Ronan O’Donovan will be known as His Honour Judge O’Donovan. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1995. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019.
