Circuit Judge Appointment: Chatterjee
The King has appointed Adreeja Chatterjee to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Derby Combined Court (Family) with effect from 13 November 2023.
Adreeja Chatterjee will be known as Her Honour Judge Chatterjee. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1997. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019, and as a Recorder in 2022.
