Circuit Bench Retirement: Atkins

His Honour Judge Charles Edward Spencer Atkins retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 November 2023.

Background information

His Honour Judge Atkins was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1975. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1997, a Recorder in 2000 and a Circuit Judge in 2003. He was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2009.
