District Judge Appointment: Gribble
The King has appointed Judith Gribble to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Civil & Family Courts and Tribunals Centre, with effect from 8 January 2024.
Judith Gribble will be known as District Judge Gribble. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Fee-Paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011. She was then assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2014 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal in 2018. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
