Circuit Judge Appointment: Rhys
The King has appointed Megan Rhys to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court with effect from 25 September 2023.
Background Information
Megan Rhys will be known as Her Honour Judge Rhys. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1994. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2020.
