District Judge Appointment: Simpson
The King has appointed Andrew Simpson to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Civil and Family Courts and Tribunals Centre with effect from Monday 5 December 2022.

Andrew Simpson will be known as District Judge Simpson. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2000. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020 and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2020.
