District Judge Appointment: Mills
The Queen has appointed Alexander Edward Mills to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court with effect from 13 December 2021.
Background Information
Alexander Edward Mills, aged 39, will be known as District Judge Mills. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2004. He was appointed as both a Recorder and a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2019.
