Circuit Judge Appointment: Watkins
The Queen has appointed Myles Kenneth George Watkins to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Nottingham County Court with effect from 22 November 2021.
Background Information
Myles Kenneth George Watkins, aged 55, will be known as His Honour Judge Watkins. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1990. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2004, as a District Judge in 2008 and as a Recorder in 2009.
