District Judge Appointment: Watkin
The Queen has appointed Rachel Margaret Watkin to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Wales Circuit, based at Prestatyn Civil and Family Court with effect from 1 November 2021.
Background Information
Rachel Margaret Watkin will be known as District Judge Watkin. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1999 and was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2015. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
